Our market at DeKalb County History Center is officially over for 2026, but our friends over at MVPs are hosting an extended season!

The Sycamore Farmers Market season may be over at the DeKalb County History Center, but there’s no need to say goodbye to your favorite local vendors just yet!

Our friends and partners at MVP Sports Bar are helping extend the Sycamore Farmers Market season at their downtown location! Join them on Tuesdays from 3–6 PM, weather permitting, at 124 S. California Street to shop a small selection local growers, makers, and producers and find some of your favorite market vendors.

While the History Center takes some time for important campus work and launch new fall programming, we’re excited that this community tradition can continue just a little longer. We hope to expand the market season at the History Center in the future, but for now, this is a wonderful way to keep supporting the local businesses and producers who make our community so special.

Who's coming out for our FINAL Sycamore Farmers Market of the season?! We can't wait to see you tomorrow, 3-6 pm!

It’s hard to believe, but Tuesday, September 1 is the VERY LAST Sycamore Farmers Market of the 2026 season.

What a season it has been. From fresh produce and local makers to familiar faces, new friends, live music, and countless conversations, the market has been such a special part of summer at the DeKalb County History Center. Come help celebrate one last market day! And we’re ending the season with something truly special.

ARCOMUSICAL is bringing the incredible sounds and stories of the berimbau, an Afro-Brazilian musical bow with roots in Africa, to the History Center for a FREE concert! Explore the berimbau’s connections to Brazilian culture, capoeira, history, and the African diaspora through an exciting and unforgettable musical performance.

Tuesday, September 1
3:00 PM: Pre-show entertainment

We've got some amazing America 250 programming planned alongside tomorrow's market! Come support performer Jeff Little and our local vendors with our SECOND TO LAST Sycamore Farmers Market for the season.

Get ready to celebrate the last days of summer in the spirit of America 250 at the Sycamore Farmers Market!

Join us Tuesday, August 25 from 3–6 PM at the DeKalb County History Center for a special performance by pianist Jeff Little as he presents his “Great American Songbook," a sentimental journey through decades of beloved American music!

Known for his signature virtuosic, two-handed piano style, Jeff blends Appalachian roots with jazz, blues, and pop standards to create a one-of-a-kind musical experience.

This special performance continues year-long America 250 programming with songs celebrating the many sounds and stories that make up America’s musical heritage.

Bring your friends, enjoy local vendors, grab some great food, a cold drink, and spend the afternoon celebrating community at the Sycamore Farmers Market!

We love seeing our local market vendors thrive! We are excited to share the happy news that Half-Acre Pantry has recently opened a brand new STORE FRONT located in downtown Rochelle. We highly recommend you go check out their new location! Can't make the drive? Don't worry, you can still visit them at our Tuesday markets from 3-6 pm.
