We will not be out today since Mike is still at work and my mom’s here for a surprise visit. Having a great time walking and talking with my mom. And of course, Christmas shopping for essentials - yes even at 52 my mom still buys me my holiday staples of panties and socks except they’re no longer purchased at Victoria’s Secret and Foot Locker…it’s SAM’S CLUB baby!!!

I hope everyone had a wonderful thanksgiving and got fat, happy and nappy. We will not be out today since Mike is still at work. Apparently his employee that was supposed to work overnight must’ve still been in a food coma since he never showed up! Here’s to a great week as we head into December.

I’m calling it now…Mike is still at work but even if he wasn’t it would be me today. I just got up 20 minutes ago. I got the booster shot yesterday and feel like I got hit by a Mack truck going 72 miles per hour. There’s no way I could even lift a cup of shave ice let alone the syrup bottle! 😵‍💫. So I’m going back to bed to rest up for a whole 2 days of work. May you all have a blessed Thanksgiving. I’ve already set out my eating sweatpants for Thursday and removed the batteries out of my scale.

We will not be out today. I can’t seem to wake Mike up. He pulled another overnight shift so I give up. I hope everyone has a nice week. Remember to thank our military for their service today, everyday and Veteran’s Day.

Sorry for the late post but we will not be out today. Apparently there were some awesome Halloween parties in the west valley because Mike had a few call outs for work. He had to work from 1am-12pm. I want him to sleep so we can celebrate our grandson’s first Halloween. Have a great week.

I hope ya’ll are sitting down…we WILL be out today from 1-3 at Dale’s Town & Country on Waddell between Litchfield and Bullard. We hope to see many old faces and some new! It’s a glorious day so come stop by!

If you were betting we weren’t going to be out today…buy yourself a lottery ticket! Mike just got home after working this morning from 2-11am. He is running on fumes and microwaveable croissant sandwiches. I am going to let him sleep and go grocery shopping. I am going to make him a week of amazing home cooked meals. For those that know me, it’s a BIG deal. Have an amazing week! Halloween is just around the corner!

We will not be out today as Mike had to head to California for his nephew’s memorial. He passed away from COVID at age 47 leaving behind 15 year old triplet daughters who are freshman in high school. Hug your kids tight, spend time with loved ones and make as many memories as you can. I hope those of you that are on fall break travel safely and have fun. For those of you returning to school from fall break (like me 😵‍💫) - let’s knock out another quarter. We got this!
