I picked more tomatoes the other day…I just can’t waste them 🤣 the struggle is real. 🤪 these fresh tomatoes made a huge batch of chili! Yum 😋

🌶️ We did Lemon Spice Jalapeños 🌶️ for the first time this year. They were good and the bright yellow is fun. They’re a little hotter than a regular Jalapeño’ picked these this afternoon. We vacuum sealed them and put them in the freezer.
NOT FOR SALE.

It was a great night for a burger 🍔 especially with garden tomato and lettuce. 🥬 yum! Yeah..I’m still picking tomatoes 🤣

🍞 Now that I have more time available I’m starting back up making Sourdough. I haven’t made anything since June. 😜 good thing I had made a bunch before the garden season got crazy, and my house isn’t 80+ degrees.. I don’t like air conditioning, so it’s gets a little warm for sourdough. I kept her in the refrigerator tucked in the corner. It’s been basically 4 months and she smelt wonderful (sweet/fruity)despite not being feed that whole time. Why a strong starter is important. I can’t wait. Yum 😋! I know..I can do 1 big jar, but this is how my brain works 🤣🤪😝 I’m sure most of you have figured that out. 😂

🥬 collecting seeds from my Romaine lettuce 🥬 I did this year. I let 1 full tote go to seed, so I could collect seeds to have for next year. It starts with the seeds head, then turns to flower head ..then dry’s. I bent my heads over so they would dry better and help keep the “seed” head. (See picture) if I get time I’ll take out all the dead stuff. If not it’s good compost, in the soil.
The white pieces are the seeds for planting. 🥬

Tonight’s Dinner…local hamburger, My Romaine lettuce from the garden AND a tomato I was saving 🤣 yummy..the steak fry potatoes are Yukon Golds from the garden. It was a delicious meal. 🤩

🍁 Good morning everyone and Happy Monday! I want to THANK everyone for your support this year at my little stand. It was a great year for produce for me. I’m truly blessed and grateful for what my ladies give me each year. I look forward to next year and adding in some new varieties of produce, but less of some. It’s always good to grow and learn something new. Have a great Winter everyone! THANK YOU 😊 🥰😘😘😘

🍅 it’s a great day to dehydrate more Juliet 🍅 for this winter. These are great in many dishes and baking. I dehydrated 10 pint jars and used my mason jar vacuum sealer to help preserve them. Doesn’t a Sourdough Tomato and Mozzarella grilled cheese with a bowl of tomato soup 🥫 sound delicious! 😋
