The strawberries were covered, tucked in so tight
The fires they burned on the orchard floor all night
The morning arose with the light being paved
With a lingering hope that a crop had been saved

It was a long, long night. We pray we saved some fruit. The extent of the damage will not be known for about 48 hours but we are holding on to hope. Grateful for those that braved long hours all night to give us all a chance to enjoy the crops! Whatever happens we will adapt.

Prayers are needed for many orchardists facing damaging freezing temperatures, threatening valuable fruit blossoms and young crops. We ask for protection over their hard work, strength for tired hands, and mercy for the trees to withstand the cold. Many farmers are fighting a battle against temperatures that can destroy some or all of their crops. Prayers to all who will spend a sleepless night worrying and working to protect their harvests.

Some fun things we did over the winter!

-new lines one the parking lot! Please park in a designated spot and leave the handicap spot open for those in need. We have plenty of additional parking if you follow the road along the playground! That is also the best place for campers, trailers, etc! 🅿️

-new sides on the picnic shelter!! We have tried all kinds but these are going to be amazing! We are taking reservations for your events for 2026! 🧺

-And the best news! The BUS has been restored!!!! It isnt out yet but will be in the next few weeks!!! 🚌

A rainbow over the farm feels like a pretty perfect way to end opening day 🌈

Today is officially OPENING day for 2026! The doors will open at 9am this morning and we will begin our 20th year in business!

Parking Lot Closure Notice

Please be advised that our parking lot will be closed from March 9–13 while we reseal the pavement.

During this time, no vehicles will be able to enter or park in the lot. We kindly ask that you do not pull into the lot while the work is being completed. We will have cones and tape marking the lot as closed.

Ever wonder why we have such amazing employees???

In the pictures you may recognize these faces from the market. When we hire students we typically talk to the local ag teachers for recommendations. The students involved in FFA are generally advanced to their peers in public speaking, self driven work skills, and jobs skills valued in business.

As we celebrate National FFA week we show our appreciation for our amazing staff and their many accomplishments in the FFA Organization. We are greatful for an organization that values developing real life work skills and leadership development! The FFA began in Virginia and will celebrate its centennial year of founding this year!
