🥃 Spirit of the Week: Russell’s Reserve 10 Year Kentucky Straight Bourbon

When you’ve got over 100 combined years of whiskey-making experience between a father and son, you know the bourbon in the bottle is going to be GOOD. Master Distillers Jimmy Russell and his son Eddie Russell hand-select each barrel of Russell’s Reserve after at least 10 years of aging — and the result is a smooth, complex bourbon with rich notes of spicy vanilla and warm oak.

90 proof. 10 years aged. Two legends behind the label. This is bourbon made with care, patience, and serious know-how.

This week we’re going BIG with three powerhouse cheddars — and yes, they get more intense as the years add up:

🟧 5 Year Cheddar — Sharp, bold, and beautifully balanced. The classic.
🟨 10 Year Cheddar — Now we’re talking. Crystalline crunch, rich umami, complex sharpness.
🟫 20 Year Cheddar — The legend. Two decades of aging. Crumbly, intense, packed with those signature flavor crystals. A true cheese experience.

Can you help us FIND RUNE?!

Rune is a Traveling Viking Gnome — and an absolute legend in their own right. They arrived in Downtown Stoughton on March 16th and will be roaming our streets until they departs after Syttende Mai Weekend to return to the stunning fjords of Norway.

A few things you should know about Rune: They love solo transatlantic travel. They are a Tenured Professor of Norse Mythology. They have side hustles in Interior Design, unapologetically listens to Swedish Death Metal, has an affinity for dark chocolate and axe throwing, fiercely supports local small business, and is currently writing their first memoir — Pillaging the Patriarchy.

Here’s how it works: Rune is hiding somewhere in a Cheesers. Find them and you win the prize in their basket! There’s only one winner per hour, so once the prize is claimed, they’ll move on another location in the store.
