Dawid ma zaledwie 19 lat. Jeszcze niedawno prowadził zwyczajne życie nastolatka — chodził na siłownię, spotykał się z przyjaciółmi, biegał i planował swoją przyszłość. Dziś porusza się na wózku, cierpi z powodu postępujących problemów neurologicznych, silnej spastyczności i utraty możliwości samodzielnego chodzenia. Po dwóch operacjach w Polsce jego stan nadal się pogarsza, a możliwości dalszego leczenia w kraju zostały bardzo ograniczone.
Pojawiła się jednak nadzieja. Po miesiącach poszukiwań Dawid został przyjęty na konsultacje przez doświadczonych specjalistów w Stanach Zjednoczonych, którzy ponownie przeanalizowali jego przypadek i rozważają zaawansowane możliwości leczenia, w tym operację rewizyjną oraz rzadko wykonywaną metodę Spinal Column Shortening. Pierwsza konsultacja w Providence, Rhode Island, jest zaplanowana na 1 października.
Aby Dawid mógł tam dotrzeć i otrzymać tę szansę, potrzebna jest nasza pomoc. Każda wpłata — nawet niewielka — przybliża go do konsultacji, która może otworzyć drogę do dalszego leczenia i poprawy jego życia.

HELP DAWID FIGHT FOR A CHANCE TO WALK
Dawid is only 19 years old. Until recently, he lived an ordinary teenage life — going to the gym, spending time with friends, running, walking, and making plans for his future. Today, he is confined to a wheelchair and faces severe, progressive neurological problems, debilitating spasticity, and the loss of his ability to walk. After two surgeries in Poland, his condition has continued to worsen, and treatment options there have become extremely limited.
But there is still hope. After months of searching, Dawid has been accepted for consultations with highly experienced specialists in the United States. They have reviewed his case and are considering advanced treatment options, including revision surgery and a rare procedure known as Spinal Column Shortening. His first consultation in Providence, Rhode Island, is scheduled for October 1st.
