👩‍🎓👩‍🎓 CONGRATS to our 2 Graduates! 🎉
🎓 Bella started with us in February 2025. Bella has held several leadership positions in the Frederick County 4-H Livestock Club and currently serves as President. This fall, she will be representing Virginia as a member of the State 4-H Meats Judging and Skillathon teams at National competitions. After graduation, she plans to attend Laurel Ridge for two years to earn her associates degree and then transfer to a four-year university to complete a bachelor’s degree in Agriculture Business.

🎓Allie started with us in July 2025. She graduated from Sherando High School. She will be attending Laurel Ridge Community College in the Fall to pursue a career as a dental hygienist!

🚚We are hiring at our Gore's Edinburg Foltz Plant - looking for a delivery driver/pork room assistant!
This full time position is for a delivery driver and pork room assistant at our Gore's Meats location in Edinburg. You will help the pork room team break down hog carcasses, grind and mix sausage, package sausage, weigh and label bags, load delivery van, and safely and efficiently deliver products to stores and restaurants up and down the Shenandoah Valley. Handling payment of invoices is also a responsibility of this job as well as approaching potential new sales opportunities. We are looking for a high energy, outgoing person that will represent our company well in public. They will be responsible for handing cash or check on delivery as well as basic maintenance of the delivery vehicle (refill gas tank, attend oil changes, keep vehicle clean, alert manager when vehicle isn't preforming).
Gore's Meats is a small family business and offers fair pay, health insurance, Simple IRA retirement plan, paid vacation, PTO, supplemental insurance through AFLAC, and other family owned touches that make this a long term place to work- ask our current staff!

Join Our Team! We are hiring at Gore's Fresh Meats in Stephens City! 🔪This full time position is for a meat cutter assistant at our Gore's Fresh Meats butcher shop in Stephens City. We are looking for a self motivated team member to help the Gore's Fresh Meats team provide meat and local products to customers. This job will include vacuum sealing meat, assisting with set up of the cutting room, cutting meat (after training process is complete), cleaning, assisting the front end with stocking & helping assist customers, and being flexible to help with other jobs- running errands, unloading deliveries, helping with Gore's Meats company tasks, etc.

Horseradish Mustard Roast Beef Sliders 🥪🔥

Easy, cheesy sliders packed with bold flavor and perfect for parties, lunches, or game day!

Ingredients

1 package Hawaiian slider rolls
1 lb deli roast beef
8 slices provolone cheese
1/4 cup Horseradish mustard
2 tbsp mayonnaise
2 tbsp butter, melted
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp dried parsley
1/2 tsp garlic powder

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
2. Slice slider rolls in half and place bottom halves in a baking dish.
3. Mix horseradish mustard and mayonnaise together. Spread over the rolls.
4. Layer roast beef and provolone cheese evenly on the rolls.
5. Add top buns.
6. Mix melted butter, Worcestershire sauce, parsley, and garlic powder. Brush over tops of rolls.
7. Cover with foil and bake 15 minutes.
8. Remove foil and bake another 5 minutes until tops are golden.
