It’s the best week to be in Stephen!

We will be volunteering each day with one thing or another, but we are extra excited to be serving up food, drinks, and a golf game on Hole 7 tomorrow.
After that, we’re helping dish up some tacos for supper at the Legion for our daughter’s senior class trip fundraiser!

The youngest Sustad has two announcements:

His Daddy will be manning the store tomorrow from 8:00-12:00 AND best news of all is that we are now serving ice cream!

The current flavors are:
Superman
Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough
Pirates Bounty

This little guy tried and loved all the flavors, but Superman was his favorite!

How fun to see Joyce being highlighted with her role at our local nursing home! Joyce, being the hard worker she is, is also one of the team members that keeps our store smooth sailing on weekends.
We are so thankful to have someone like Joyce and all our employees that make up the dynamic team that’s happy to serve you, our local patrons!

Though you probably already know her, meet today’s birthday girl, Karyl! She’s been a staple at Sustad Family Market since we opened and she was a staple of the previous store, Kelly’s Country Market, for many years prior! This experience makes her very knowledgeable at the store.

Karyl is incredibly reliable, hardworking, and friendly. She is always happy to give a helping hand to her fellow team members and is very patient when she’s training in new employees.
She takes her work very seriously, but also likes having fun and joking around! She loves dressing the part for different holidays. Come in the week of Halloween, for example, and you’ll enjoy seeing all the different costumes she wears each day.

Customers always get a big smiley greeting from her on the way in and sometimes even a warm hug on the way out. She is a face of comfort for many that walk into our store.

Happy birthday to this gem of a person!
