In Staten Island we have some wonderful delis, and My Deli is one of them.

It is located at exit 13 on the Staten Island Expressway and is a great place to stop if you are traveling with family and passing through Staten Island, NY, or if you are a truck driver taking a long haul in or out of the NYC area.

For our neighbors it is located at the intersection of several large neighborhoods and has been a favorite stopping place for staples like milk and bread, bagels, coffee, and breakfast sandwiches, and late night snacks. There are groceries, soda, beer, ci******es, metro cards, lottery tickets, newspapers and more!

There is nothing like food in NYC and i am especially partial to Staten Island food. Tucked in a corner are freshly made bagels and Italian bread and rolls. Something hardly seen in corporate-majority stores in NJ, where Shoprite rules. My Deli has fresh bagels to die for and beautiful delicious rolls. If you are passing through stop by.

Wow! no update since the post on Hurricane Sandy. On this cold winter day just want to let you know My Deli is open 24/7 and you can send a message anytime with your comments.

Most of the signs started to blow off during Hurricane Sandy. One neighbor was very sad to see that our lights were not on when the hurricane hit on the eve of Monday, Oct 29. She said she could not remember looking out and seeing the lights off on the store.

Keep forgetting to take pictures of the Italian bread. Instead I grab a piece of warm bread as I am running out the door and eat half of it on the way home.
