We successfully completed our training week ahead of the May 13th operation kickoff. During the week, our employees received training on the importance of animal welfare, food quality and safety, proper chemical handling, HR orientation and workplace culture, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), HACCP plans, SSOP procedures, workplace safety, and operational processes. Led by the Plant Manager, Assistant Manager, QA Technician, and team leads, the sessions included hands-on instruction, open discussions, and Q&A opportunities to help ensure every employee is prepared for a safe, efficient, and successful startup.
The training also gave workers the opportunity to get to know each other, share experiences, and build teamwork.
We held a workshop with Ana Fosechatto, where the employees learned about their rights.
Employees also participated in evaluations, and had time to discuss job expectations, ask questions, and provide feedback.
Wrapping up the week, the team enjoyed a delicious meal (rotisserie chicken Tree-Range Farms) from Tortillas La Mayzteca celebrating the successful completion of training and the start of the season 2026.
