I gave the old girl a good feed before bed and told her, “I need you to double by morning so we can make the most dough we’ve ever made in a single day…”

She said, “Double? Pffff.”

“I’m going to quadruple, explode all over the counter, and make you question your math skills”

“Now let’s make some dough!” 😂🍞

On second thought, I probably shouldn’t have given her that little bit of whole wheat snack. She gets all kinds of crazy when I do.

Yeehaw! Mess cleaned and dough mixing.

What a crazy (and exciting!) week ahead as summer market season officially kicks off! ☀️🍞

📍 Tonight: Join us at the Tuesday Night Market At The Legionfrom 4:00–8:30 PM! Stop by for fresh sourdough, sweet treats, or just to say hello. (In inside the Legion. Other vendors are outside)

🚗 Friday Night: I'll be at the North St. Paul Car Show from 6:00–10:00 PM with a FULL booth! Whether you're coming for the classic cars or the sourdough, be sure to stop by and grab your favorites.
We’ll be on Helen St N between 7th and Seppala.

🏖️ Saturday: You'll find me at the first Fawn Lake Market of the season! This is one of my absolute favorite markets. The setting right on the beach is beautiful, the vendors are wonderful, and the community is amazing. I can't wait to catch up with familiar faces and meet some new ones too!

🏡 Sunday: The farm stand is a little up in the air. I'm not sure I have the capacity to bake enough for all three events... but I'm going to give it my best shot! 💪 I'll keep everyone posted as the week goes on.

The good news? If the stand doesn't happen, the Fawn Lake Market is only about 2 miles away, so you can still stock up on all your favorite sourdough and goodies on Saturday!

🐷 Sarge would like to thank everyone for coming out to the stand today! We are so incredibly thankful for all the support you continue to show our little farmstand. ❤️

We’ll be open again next Sunday at 10:00am — and next week we’re bringing a little extra farm fun! 🐑 I’ll have some of our lambs down at the stand for everyone to meet and pet for about an hour after opening. Come by and say hi!

Side note — now that the weather is nice, you may get a visit from Sarge at the stand. He is basically a free-range dog… errr, pig… who sometimes wanders down the driveway to say hello. 😂

You don’t need to be afraid of him, but if you ignore him, he’ll eventually leave you alone. If you DO want to make a new friend, he loves snacks — especially carrots and cucumbers. Who am I kidding… he likes everything. But we prefer he sticks to veggies to help keep his figure. 🥒🐷
