Good afternoon Towerview, I wanted to update everyone on the propane situation. We took the funds given to my propane challenge this week and bought ALL the 1lb tanks that cabelas had which was 48 tanks! We made a trip over to the encampment today and dropped them off. Those are going to make a difference this week when the temps drop! Another opportunity for propane and a more sustainable heat option presented itself also. There has been a nonprofit company that’s built a shelter out there for them but was praying God would provide someone that would be able to figure out a heating solution. Well God did just that (us/all of you that donated!) we are providing a 100LB propane tank which will be secured to the structure, and an indoor safe propane wall heater that will allow the shelter to be a warming shelter. So not only did you all provide small tanks to heat their tents, you’ve provided heat for the entire shelter that’s been built by volunteers. Isn’t it amazing how when God calls, he doesn’t tell you what he’s telling others to do, he just asks you to be willing and he puts it all together! If you want to help, please reach out to Matt Hancock, Matt Nelson, or Myself. Jarod Thompson will be going out either Tuesday afternoon, or Wednesday during the day to get the heat installed and working in the shelter. If anyone would be available to help him with this, or just go and show support/pray, please let me of Jarod know. The darkness can be felt down there, and THE LIGHT of JESUS CHRIST is needed.
