Who says these are the "Dog Days of Summer"? Typically, by August everyone is tired of the Summer's endless heat. Hence, the phrase "Dog Days", named after the star "Sirius" or "Dog Star" which is prevalent in the sky this time of year.

For a nice change to your grilled burgers this summer try mixing in sliced Olea olives, oregano, and feta cheese to your ground beef, chicken, or turkey for a Mediterranean burger. Top with some sliced heirloom tomatoes and a drizzle of Olea olive oil from the farmers market. Yummy!!

Just got a case of 750 ML bottles of oil. I have 11 left and probably won't get them again! For those of you that want a little larger bottle but not a tin it's a great size and value! All bottles have a built in spout and can be refilled should you buy a tin later. Plus, the dark bottle is designed to protect your oil! :)
