We take our food seriously. That’s why we brought in renowned chef Ben Poremba to take the lead in preparing the best bites for you. Ben is no novice to the culinary scene having already started wildly successful restaurants such as Elaia & Olio as well as being a semifinalist for a James Beard Award “Best Chef Midwest” in 2014. Now he brings his immense talent to United Provisions to craft some of the finest foods from fresh, local ingredients. We invite you to stop by and chow down—and maybe pick up some groceries afterwards. Coffee
Our mission to use local products doesn’t stop with our food. The selections of coffees we have for you come from local artisan roaster Northwest Coffee. Already a St. Louis favorite, Northwest Coffee will bring their passion for coffee and roasting to United Provisions. They want to ensure that they “support the best farmers of the world in a sustainable manner”, a goal United Provisions is happy to partake in. So stop by, relax, and smell the freshly ground coffee beans. We also have our own Nespresso machine!

At UP, you’ll find select fruits and veggies marked down when they’re still perfectly good, just need to be used sooner. Same quality, just less waste and a better price.

From refreshing blends like Green Queen and Zinger to classics like Strawberry Lemonade, our juice lineup is made fresh each week using seasonal ingredients and customer favorites. Every bottle is juiced, mixed, strained, and packaged fresh in-house, all within a day.

Meet Will 👋

For over 5 years, Will has been a beloved part of the United Provisions team. He’s kind, helpful, funny, and somehow always knows a little bit about everything. Customers and coworkers alike know they can count on him to brighten the day.

As Will gets ready to graduate from college, we wanted to celebrate this huge milestone and recognize the hard work it took to get here. Here’s what he had to say:

“Working toward my degree over the past few years has been a constant struggle. However, throughout it all, I’ve had the people of United Provisions here to help me through it. I am incredibly grateful for their support during this part of my life. So I will remember them forever, no matter where else I go. Thank you, United Provisions, for everything.”

Outside of UP, Will is also an incredibly talented artist with a bright future ahead, and we are so grateful for him❤️ 🎨

The best part about United Provisions? You’re almost guaranteed to find something you didn’t know you needed, or a hidden gem that transports you straight back to your childhood.

It’s that vibrant blend of people, stories, and global flavors that makes every visit feel like a discovery. Then again, sometimes it’s not that deep. Sometimes, you just really need a fresh pair of chopsticks. 🤷🏻‍♂️🥢
