North City Farmers' Market

The market season is OPEN! We've changed up the format this year, giving you a more hands-on experience to learn where your food comes from. Every Saturday from 9:30am-noon through the growing season, stop by the 13th Street Community Garden to pick what you want from our fresh, neighborhood-grown produce.

This year, we are just asking for donations of what you can afford - no price-per-pound model as in years past. Don't have cash on you that week? No worries! No one will be turned away from fresh, healthy foods. Stay tuned for more announcements on special event days, gardening classes, and more!

The North City Farmers Market has gone through many iterations since our first season back in 2007. That first summer the construction was not yet underway for N. 14th Street as we set up tents on the old mall. We've lost a few dear friends since then and have gained many new ones as well. As we prepare for our 16th season this year, we are pausing to say we are forever grateful to every neighbor, friend, vendor, shopper and musician who has contributed along the way. This weekend we begin prepping for planting and we hope you can join us back in the 13th Street Community Garden this summer on Saturday mornings for fresh produce grown organically by the neighbors of Old North!

We have 37 pounds of delicious red tomotatoes at the market! You’ll also find plenty of green beans, okra, tomatillos, onions, peppers, greens, garlic, and homemade pickles and preserves. Stop by today until noon to get fresh goodies grown and made in Old North!

Come on down to the market today! We have a bounty of tomatoes, tomatillos, onions, cucumbers, beans, peppers, greens, squash, carrots, pears and garlic. Moonchild Botanicals is here with hand poured candles and incense! Here until noon.

Our first market day of the year has begun! We have some great spring crops: lettuce, radishes, turnips, greens, lots of herbs, and gorgeous flowers. You can also get some great salsa, pickles, jams and jellies, and bath salts and bombs from City by Amity. Come and join us until noon.
