Apples and leafy greens are still stocked in abundance at Chesapeake Farm to Table, why not make a salad out of them! Follow the recipe above or lettuce know how you make your spring salad 😉:

Salad Ingredients:
🔸 6 cups spring mix
🔸 1 cup sliced fuji apple
🔸 6 oz. cooked chicken
🔸 ¼ cup crumbled gouda
🔸 Fuji Apple Vinaigrette*
🔸 ¼ cup pecans (Optional)
🔸 2 slices pickled red onion (Optional)

DIY Fuji Apple Vinaigrette Recipe
🔸 ½ cup extra virgin olive oil
🔸 ¼ cup white balsamic vinegar
🔸 2 tablespoons honey |
🔸 2 tablespoons apple juice
🔸 ½ teaspoon sea salt
🔸 ½ teaspoon garlic powder
🔸 ½ teaspoon onion powder
🔸 ¼ teaspoon ground ginger
Blend all vinaigrette ingredients in a food processor until fully combined.
