Bad news. I've had a slight set back for start up. I had the front of my vehicle demolished by a deer Thursday night. I'm going to look at starting July 7th.

With a very sad 😢 and heavy 💜, I regret to inform you that I have to cancel the rest of my market career. 😭. As you all know it has been a tough season for me. With my long time aches and pains getting way worse and my long time helper and daughter Cheyanne not being available every Sunday to help me. BUT doing her best to juggle to help me while starting a family of her own, a career, some hobbies and just trying to enjoy life. Also, most of you know I have been caring for my Dad who just turned 88 last Sunday. He has been in rehab for 1.5 months due to knee replacement surgery. He just came home Thursday. I am so happy but it has been a long month and a half. The surgery really took a toll on him mentally and physically. He has no more knee pain and did very well with his knee rehab. But he now has a diaphragmatic hernia which is taking a toll on his over all heal and well being. He is also quite weak and a little confused and forgetful. So due to my love for him and being his main caregiver I have decided that he can not be left alone. I do apologize for the short and abrupt notice. Believe me, I am crying as I'm typing you all this message. I want to thank you all and everyone who has supported myself and my young helpers through the years. I will not forget any of you. Maybe one day we may meet again.

Ok....It's been a very busy 2 weeks. I'll be set up and ready from 10-2 in South Riding at 43055 Center St and again from 4-6 in Centreville at 5865 Trinity Parkway. Cheyanne’s Creations will be with me and will have some new fall scents your probably gonna love! I will have the last of the peaches, watermelon, cantaloupe and corn on the cob for the season. That means I will also have the last of the peach cobblers I will make this year. I will have several varieties of apples, 2 kinds of pears, TOMATOES are still ok for a few weeks, zucchini is getting near the end but still producing. We do have butternut, acorn and spaghetti squash for you tomorrow and little new potatoes. BLACKBERRIES! PICKLES, SALSA, PEAR BUTTER and more. Weather is calling for some rain but don't let that stop you. I will have the tents up and waiting for you. See you all tomorrow.
Who needs PEACHES 🍑? The little rain did wonders. The last variety survived and they are delicious! This will definitely be the last of the season. I will also be making the last of the peach cobblers of the season. Does anyone want me to hold back any cobblers?

Labor Day Special white corn 🌽 $4.00 every half dozen unshucked. (must buy half dozen) $1.00 each ear unshucked. $1.25 an ear already shucked. WATERMELON $8.00 each. CANTALOUPES $5.00 each. Last week for peaches 🍑😢. We are quickly transitioning to fall produce. Will have TOMATOES for a little bit yet. Will also have red bell peppers, green bell peppers, green beans, new potatoes, zucchini, squash, plums, blackberries, apples. Lots of salsa! Mild, medium and HOT 🔥. THIN sliced garlic dill pickles, sweet bread n butter pickles and some medium spicy. Zucchini breads, apple breads, peach cobblers, jams. Going forward at least for the month of SEPTEMBER, I will only be available to come every other Sunday. So I will be at market September 3rd and 17th. Will know more about OCTOBER in a few weeks.
Sorry about the confusion yesterday. Please read this whole post. I had posted on the 19th that I would be without help on the 27th and therefore would NOT be coming. I also told everyone in person that came in the 28th. I WILL BE BACK THIS SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 3RD. Hopefully I will be able to accommodate everyone's LABOR DAY NEEDS or just normal.needs. I will post on Thursday or Friday an updated produce and homemade items I will have available for THIS SUNDAY.
