lage and the beach close by! A bit about the Dartmouth Farmers Market:

The focus of this years market will be educating the public on the importance of eating healthy locally grown fruits and vegetables. When your local farmer arrives at the Dartmouth Farmers markets he or she has traveled a distance of just a few miles. This is not the same produce that is trucked thousands of miles from California, Seattle, or comes from other countries. When you taste local produce, fruits, and vegetables you can taste the difference and it is healthier for you. Also shop the market for locally handmade products from local artists and crafts people!

We are thrilled to have had over 170 individuals join us for our first market of the season. We appreciate the time you took to spend with us on a hot day, as your time is highly valued. As the growing season unfolds, our vegetable selection will expand, given that it is the start of the growing season. We appreciate the efforts of our local farmers, who provide fresh produce. The Dartmouth Farmers Market is set to return in one day, on June 5th and every Friday till Oct 23 at 789 Dartmouth Street, South Dartmouth, alongside St. Mary's Parish, and will be open from 12-5pm. Additionally, the Parish Thrift Shop will be open from 12-4:00. We still have room for few more vendors!
