I am so excited for the local food event of the season!! A Southcoast local FOOD FIGHT! This Saturday, May 11th, from 5-8pm at the Madeira Portuguese Feast Grounds. This will put some of the best local chefs against each other in an Iron chef style competition. Watch chefs from dnb Burgers, Union Flats, and Smoke and Pickles battle it out with local ingredients. This event helps support my favorite local food non-profit: Coastal Foodshed. If you are a local foodie, you can't miss this event!!

We are a fast-growing and innovative farm team dedicated to growing amazing food and obsessed with great customer service. We are looking to add 3-6 people to our farm team this season. We have both full and part-time positions in the fields, at farmers' markets, in our farm stand, taking care of our flock of laying hens, and delivering CSA shares. Awesome day to be outside prepping our fields. Tony with a disk harrow getting our 4 acre patch on allens neck rd. ready to start planting. We also got a literal ton a seed potatoes delivered to the farm today. And so it begins 😀

One of our local organic farms ( Cluck and Trowel). Lost their barn yesterday. They lost over 200 laying hens, much of their equipment and a freezer full of the meat they raised on the farm. Please help Sarah and Kate get back on their feet and keep farming. We can't afford to lose any farmers from our community.
