Hello friends,
This is a friendly reminder about our market night tonight Wednesday, December 18 from 5pm-7pm!
Things to look for at the market: Bulk food from Azure (including Maple Sugar, Olive Oil, Short and Long Grain Rice, All Purpose Flour-- all Organic!), peppers and produce from the OLR hoop house garden and Kankakee Wetlands Organic Gardens, BOGO frozen prepared food from A Bite With Mee, bulk eco-friendly dish soap & soap nuts, and various food pantry items!
We will plan to start markets back up in Spring 2025 while we build out a structure for running markets in the coming year. If you are interested in helping with volunteer coordination/setup/cleanup/pickups for future markets please email us and/or [email protected] .
Join in our efforts to be a low waste market! We want your used dish soap bottles, berry/produce containers, plastic bags, and candle jars (yes, candle jars)! You can drop off your empty and rinsed containers (candle containers do not have to be empty).
We also once again will be offering Azure bulk items at market night, and also you have the opportunity to place individual orders through Azure that we will have ready for you to pick up! Because we are coming together collectively as a local Michiana community to place orders through Azure, you can get the discounted bulk prices with no required minimum amounts.
How it works:
1. Browse online at https://www.azurestandard.com. We are able to order items that do not require refrigeration. (This means no frozen groceries, meat, dairy, etc.)
2. Fill out our google form here to place your order.
3. Your order will be ready for pick up at our next market night.
There will be a 5% mark-up to cover pick up and delivery costs.
