Currently in Newark picking up donations if anyone wants me to pick up to take to those in need.
Leaving with a load at noon. Heading to the Perry County Fairgrounds with another round of donations and hot food.
Last night Aurora and I spent our evening at Perry County fairgrounds finding out what's needed. And we got to work helping people however we could.
We brought some non- parishable food items breakfast items, meat & cheese, crackers , applesauce, snacks, milk, juice, warm coats, and some toiletries ( hand soaps, hand sanitizer, toilet paper).
Helped pass out food (Cheeseburgers*Thank you to Crooksville Fire department) and passed out snacks and drinks and created a little joy
in a situation that needed just that.
Made a list of needs and made some calls. Felt really good to see the girls love their new winter coats. We definitely brought out some smiles from volunteers and those in need during a difficult time. Felt really good to be helpful.
I spoke with The Red Cross. And got a list of what they have. I'll post their list in the pictures.
And here's my list of things they actually need at least at this location after speaking with the people there.
Charge box & charge cables.
Coffee,
hot chocolate.
Baby Wipes
Paper towels
Non- perishable food items
^ food items that are easy to prepare
without having to cook them.
This location does not currently have a microwave available. It does have a fridge and a food warmer.

AA / AAA batteries
Kitty litter box & litter ( for kitten)
They had water, cat, dog food.
They had toiletry bags with hygiene products individually bagged. They had animal cages
some leashes and animal bowls.
They have hundreds of blankets.
They had cotts and tables.
They also had pizza and the cheeseburgers donated. And spaghetti dinner meals with bread butter. And a variety of snacks, chips, granola bars. Some baby food items as well.
They had a pile of clothing donated and some games and things for kids to do.
Mostly the group was older tho with a few kids and a small group of young adults.
Of course anything your willing to donate will be appreciated and helpful.
If you have any of items and you'd like to donate or want to donate any funds I can pick any of these Items up and I can drop them off tomorrow.
I do have Venmo/Zelle/ Facebook pay or Chime.
Ok off to bed. I'm expecting a call tomorrow from a store mgr. I'm trying to get a coffee donation for them tomorrow.
One way or another they will have coffee
and hot chocolate as requested. 😉
