It’s our holiday pie-making season! Our freezer is fully stocked with apple, pumpkin, grape, pear & cranberry and maple pecan pies. Everything is made from scratch using local ingredients and all-butter crusts.

We don’t take orders for them, so start stocking up for Thanksgiving now. They are sold frozen so you can bake them fresh at home!

We had a beautiful Crispin crop this year, and just picked off the treetops! Crispin apples are good sized and so versatile. They are sweet, crisp, juicy and crunchy. Eat them as a snack, or they are ideal for baking, freezing, sauces and pies. Plus, they hold well when kept cold.

We are taking orders for half bushel and peck bags for pick up here at the store.

It’s time to sign up for the Fall/Winter Egg and Milk Share, offering 13 weekly pick-ups of our fresh and nutrient-rich eggs and milk! You’ll love them for upcoming holiday baking.

This is the last week for the current share pick-up.

By prepaying for 13 weeks, you’ll receive a discount on your egg and/or milk purchases.

The current share will finish Tuesday, October 13, with the first share
pick up starting on Wednesday, October 14. (Fresh milk and eggs arrive every Wednesday mid-morning.)

Why get your eggs and milk from Farmers & Artisans?
Our farm fresh brown eggs, sold by the dozen or half dozen, come from pastured hens that have not been treated with either hormones or antibiotics. Their feed is non-GMO.

The Ithaca Milk (available in gallons, half gallons, and quarts) is from a herd of Jersey and Holstein cows that are pastured and not treated with any hormones or antibiotics. The whole milk is low-temp pasteurized and non-homogenized, preserving nutrition that is lost with ultra-pasteurization and homogenization.
Note: The low-fat milk will continue to be homogenized.

Terms & Conditions: Milk is delivered on Wednesdays, therefore the milk and egg share pick up runs Wednesday to Tuesday of the following week. Please be advised that if you miss your pickup for your weekly milk share, you will forfeit your milk share for that week. Also please note that you must bring in your own egg carton weekly to fill. Please do not leave your used egg carton here. We legally cannot reuse old cartons. New cartons are available for $.50 each.

How is it turkey ordering time already?!
We are now taking orders for Thanksgiving turkeys (fresh not frozen) from Oink and Gobble Farm in Interlaken, NY!

These delicious, all natural turkeys are raised on pasture without the use of antibiotics or hormones. Along with their natural foraging, the turkeys are fed non-GMO corn and non-GMO roasted soybeans.

Price: $6.75/lb.

Size Ranges:
Small: 10-15 lb.
Medium: 15-18 lb.
Large: 18-22 lb.

Job duties include customer service, store restocking, POS transactions, food packaging and general store tasks. Assistance is also needed with creative social media marketing and some administrative duties.

We are looking for individuals who love local food, customer interactions, and able to adapt to daily store needs in a busy environment.

Full-time Pastry Chef/Baker - We have a full-time position available in our scratch bakery and retail local foods store. We are looking for a person who is adaptable, responsible, and a team player, interested in growing with us. Job responsibilities include pastry, cookie & bread production, and morning bake off. Bakery experience preferred. Must be available to work Saturdays.

We are excited to offer a special order for whole frozen chickens from Three Sisters Farm, a small family farm in Clarence. Perfect for a roasted chicken dinner, and making stocks and soups. Make room in your freezers and stock up for the fall/winter season.

These pasture raised chickens are freedom rangers which are exceptional foragers and produce chicken with great fat quality. Their size and carcass balance is also much nicer than the traditional Cornish cross. Plus, they have been fed certified organic feed. The average weight is 4 to 4.5 lb.
(Note: The neck is on the bird, and heart and liver are included in the cavity)
