It was a busy day at Pedigree Farm in Slidell, LA! We have around 150 Jumbo Coturnix Quail chicks available! These are straight run but buyers choice! 2-3 weeks old and $2.50-3.00 each. Reach out, PM, or comment if interested!

It was another disappointing morning at Pedigree Farm. We lost a few more chicks to a predator. Our efforts to refortify our fence probably helped but it was not full proof. At this point, we believe we are dealing with 🦝🦝… It’s time to up our efforts. The live trap is set and I’m digging out the cellular trail cams.

It was a sad morning at Pedigree Farm. We woke to find that all 10 of our adolescent quail were killed last night. Our guess is either an owl or a raccoon was the culprit. We take a lot of pride in what we do and when something like this happens, it hurts. We are the protector of these defenseless animals and it feels like we failed them. However, life on the farm can be unpredictable. We are learning from our mistake and will make adjustments to prevent this from happening again.
