Two weekends left in October means there’s still plenty of time to check out the Menifee County Bale Trail! Menifee County makes up the northern part of the Red River Gorge, and the bale trail has become a local tradition started with the help of RRGFM vendor Doyle Botts Farm and their famous hungry caterpillar 🐛 Swipe to the end to see Aleta & Robert’s latest creation, and check out www.menifeetourism.com to find turn-by-turn directions and an interactive driving map to all 48 of this year’s hay sculptures 🌾

Mark your calendars! With live music by Hannah Mae Rector, our annual Holiday Market will be from 10-2 on Saturday November 14th, at the Woodland Center in Natural Bridge State Resort Park. This will be your last opportunity to shop directly with RRGFM vendors in 2026! Check this page again in early November for the full vendor list, parking info, and driving directions 🧭

If you might be interested in adopting a puppy from the Powell County Animal Shelter, we recommend filling out an application in advance at www.fopcp.org. Dogs are welcome in the park but must be kept on leash!

The only thing we love more than seeing you at the market on Saturdays… Is seeing you AND your dog! While the trails at Natural Bridge State Park are closed to our four-legged friends, they’re always welcome on leash in the park area where we hold the market. Look for the water bowl in the center of the market if your dog ever gets thirsty while you’re there 🐶

Our market also frequently hosts dogs from our friends at the Powell County Animal Shelter for a chance to socialize and potentially find their forever home! Interested in an adoption? You can visit in person at 121 Echo Hollow Road in Clay City, or look online at www.fopcp.org for information about who’s currently at the shelter and to fill out an application form.

They’ll be with us again this weekend so come on out Saturday from 10-2 to give a pup a head rub and grab yourself a treat while you’re at it 🐾

The Powell County Animal Shelter will be at the market with Sandy, a 4-year old 55-pound mixed breed female. Stop by and say hi to her! Events this Saturday at the Red River Gorge Farmers Market! Help us kick off our first market of the fall with youth activities from Red Oaks Forest School, live music by Chris Jones, yoga with Kristy, and your favorite local farmers and artisans 🍯

Look for the owls in the center of the market to find Red Oaks!

Yoga with Kristy is donation-based and open to all levels of yoga experience. You’ll find class gathered somewhere on the far side of the market near the picnic shelter. We will have mats and props to share if you need one!

Can you believe it’s already fall?! As excited as we are for cooler weather and changing leaves, we also know that autumn’s arrival today means there’s only a few weekends left until our final market of the season on Halloween 🥲 We’ve had a wonderful sixth year so far, and with six more weeks to go we hope you’ll join us on a Saturday from 10-2, by the Skylift at Natural Bridge State Resort Park 🌬️🍂✨🦉
