We are a regenerative market farm that uses all local inputs by way of KNF. We sequester carbon by the ton using indigenous biochar methods which we inoculate with beneficial microorganisms. We use no

pesticides, fungicides or chemical or synthetic fertilizers with any of our production. We control all means of production of our products from seed to the customers hands so we can ensure that everything we grow is a premium quality ingredient.

We want to sincerely apologize for the sudden change in our schedule for this weekend. Balancing the heavy demands of the farm with caring for our infant and family requires a lot of energy, and we initially planned to take a complete break this weekend to catch up on critical farm infrastructure and focus on our family.
However, we did not want to leave you without fresh food. Instead of pausing completely, we have arranged for a liaison to set up and sell our produce for us in Mountain View this weekend. Additionally, our friends at Beyond Eden will have some of our produce available for you in Hillcrest.
We deeply appreciate your understanding and continued support as we take this brief time to recharge and tend to the home front. We will be back to our regular routine very soon.

Hey everyone, we wanted to touch base and give a quick update from Hourglass Tree Farms.
We are making great progress on the new walk-in cooler, but we are completely exhausted. Between building the cooler as fast as we can, keeping up with daily picking, and managing regular farm chores, Courtney and I are running on empty.
Because of this, and the rainout at last week's FFB market, we are going to take this week off from our markets to recoup some energy. We will be back next Friday with a load of gorgeous produce for y'all to choose from.
We are also looking for a Market Liaison for Mountain View. The position pays $16 an hour plus gas. If you know a super trustworthy individual who would like to work with our farm, please have them reach out or send a message.

Step into the living energy of our Three Sisters guild here at Hourglass Tree Farms!
Right now, a magnificent, ancient synergy is unfolding in the soil. We are talking about a full-throttle explosion of companion planting where every single crop holds the line for the others.
Watch the corn skyrocket upward, throwing down deep roots and launching thick, sturdy stalks into the air to serve as a massive, living timber trellis. Racing right up those stalks are the aggressive pole beans, locked in a tight embrace, actively pumping vital nitrogen straight out of the atmosphere and injecting it deep down into the root zone to supercharge the entire patch.
And surging across the garden floor, the massive, canopy-like leaves of the yellow crookneck squash are absolutely taking over. They form a living, breathing green fortress that locks every single drop of moisture into the earth, shades out weeds completely, and blankets the soil in total abundance.

Happy Memorial Day to everyone. We hope your holiday weekend is filled with family, sunshine, and great food.
Hourglass Tree Farms is taking a one-week break from the markets to pour some love and hard work back into the farm. We are spending this week building our new walk-in cooler, which will help us keep your favorite fresh greens and heritage crops crisper and cooler than ever.
Because of this project, we will not be at the Hillcrest or Stone County farmers markets this week. We are going to miss seeing all of your friendly faces, but we are incredibly excited to come back next week better than ever to keep serving our amazing community.
