Hey everyone! I just heard from my city contact, Jessica, and we can proceed as normal for Farmer's Market. Our first day will be June 11th from nine to noon. It looks like we may be able to stay there for the entire season as downtown construction probably won't be starting until fall. Jessica will let me know more sometime in August; so until then, it's business as usual. Looking forward to seeing everyone again!

Help pollinators get the job done with this native seed mix packet designed with our friends at Pollinator Partnership. This seed mix has been designed for situations where first year color is desired and contains only wildflowers and no grass component. Year one will be mainly annuals but provide pollinators a much needed place to land. Year two will see some annuals, biennials and perennials, and by year three a beautiful mix of perennials will bloom all season and provide a healthy and sustainable area for pollinators. This mix can be used alone, over existing grass plantings or combined with any of our grass only mixes.

One packet of seeds is $16, available at our Richland SWCD Office for purchasing.

You also have a choice from 5 more kinds of seeds: Woodland Edge, Rain Garden, Butterfly & Hummingbird, Native Short Grass and Wildflower, and Septic Field.

Visit https://richlandswcd.net/services/water/rain-gardens to see more or learn why native plants are so important!
