It’s been a minute. And of course, just as we got our oldest two in school, I gained a little more free time, and when I was hoping to start posting on a regular basis again, we had a fox come through and treat our backyard like a KFC drive thru. We are officially down four chickens and have one with a significant injury.
Does it suck? Absolutely; losing any kind of pet is hard. We are so grateful to them for providing for our family and take comfort in knowing that they really only had one bad day their whole lives 💕
Our egg sales are most likely done for the year. Now the goal is to build them a safe space so they can continue to free range without having to worry about predators, especially as the weather starts to get colder.
Thanks for your continued support. We can’t wait to start providing fresh eggs again in the spring!
