We can’t tell the 4 week old babies from the 3 year olds anymore. Quail chicks grow soooo fast!

Our stand will be closed today due to the weather! We’ll restock tomorrow (Sunday May 31) with chicken, duck, and quail eggs, as well as tomato seedlings 🌱

☀️ Loving this warm weather and all the spring projects that come with it 🌱🐝
The homestead is thriving except for our poor bees. They’re struggling a bit due to the inconsistent weather we’ve had, but there are eggs and larvae in there so all is not lost! Hoping it rebounds now that it’s getting warmer and everything is blooming 🌸

The quail chicks moved out from under the heat lamp and to the aviary yesterday 🐣

I always put a little chicken wire divider between the new birds and older clan to avoid bullying while they get acquainted. Then in a week or two, I’ll remove it and let them all mingle together.

-Organic Moskvich tomato seeds from High Mowing in VT
-Coastal Maine Organic soil
-Neptune’s Harvest Organic Fertilizer
