Family run and holistically managed livestock and custom butchery. Dedicated to raising happy, healthy animals who produce nutrient dense, delicious meat. Our concentration is preserving and promoting the Gloucestershire Old Spot, one of the oldest English breeds of pig. They are commonly known as the "Orchard Pig," having been bred and raised to live in orchards; leisurely gleaning fruit and nuts

as they dropped. They are gentle giants who have the sweetest personalities and produce the most succulent, delicious pork we have ever tasted.

A Love Letter To Neighbors.

As we approach this New Year, we wanted to send our love and thanks to our neighbors. It has been a year of growth, learning and adventures for us over at Spring Tide, and we could not have done it without our amazing community.

To our fantastic (and patient) neighbors who put up with squabbling pigs, quaking ducks at 5am, confused sheep baas’ and also generously allowing our pigs to expand their residency onto their land - we are so grateful.

To our customers, who have shocked and delighted us with community support. The team and fellow producers, who so warmly embraced us; sharing advice and wonderful conversation - you made us feel so welcome.

To our direct customers, including restaurants such as and .hearth, as well as individual families across the peninsula. It has been an absolute delight to see our products on your menus and tables!

To those who bought our piglets, we have loved to see them grow on your farms and homesteads. It was an incredible year of farrowing with 94 piglets heading too new homes and we are so excited to see what next year’s farrowing bring!

To all of you listed above and anyone we might have missed, we cannot thank you enough for all your support this year. We hope you continue to follow us as we move into 2024 as we work to provide our community with happy pigs and lambs, as well as delicious locally born and raised meats - with plenty of photos and videos in between!

Happy Spring!

We're opening up the sign-up list for half and whole pork shares this spring for anyone interested. A half or whole share is a great way to fill your freezer with lots of delicious pork - all at about a 40% off retail! Dry-cured bacon, fresh sausage, meaty chops, spare ribs, roasts, steaks - the list goes on!

This Spring's pigs are a heritage cross of Gloucestershire Old Spot and Berkshire - a combination of succulent flavor that the GOS is famous for, combined with deep coloring and marbling of the Berkshire. We're really excited about these animals.

We've been a bit quiet lately, but are excited to announce we officially have a website! You can order meat boxes on it! We continue to be absolutely gobsmacked by all the support and interest in our little farm, and are so happy to share it all with you! With half the team out of commission, Emma proved her talent at multi-tasking! AI-ing a sow is an exercise in skill, attentiveness, and patience but it's so worth it. It allows us to select and pair the best meat quality genetics for our girls. Poppy and Petunia, the Flower Girls, are due in March! Keep an eye out for piglet photos!
