Pike Place Market Pike Place Market is a historic 9-acre market in downtown Seattle. Come eat, shop, meet and discover!

Pike Place Market has been a defining Seattle icon for more than a century. Considered by many “the soul of Seattle,” the Market spans nine historic acres in the center of downtown where everyday locals and tourists alike shop, visit, eat and discover. Founded in 1907, the Market is one of the oldest and largest continuously operating public markets in the United States and is brought to life by the hundreds of farmers, crafters, small businesses, and residents that call it “home”. While the Market is grounded by its incredible collection of diverse businesses, activities, and services, it simply would not exist without the passion and support from the citizens of Seattle. From humble beginnings to nearly being destroyed – Seattle’s citizens have brought their hearts to the “soul of Seattle”.

Korina joined Pike Place Market’s Handmade Craft Market this summer. She brings a unique approach to stained glass, blending traditional glasswork with hand-drawn elements.

An experienced glass artist and educator, Korina loves telling stories through her work and collaborating with fellow artists to bring creative ideas to life.

Want to see her work in person? 🎨 Korina will be one of 10 glass artists showcasing their handmade creations at our Artistry in Glass event on Saturday, October 17!

Come meet the artists, explore their work, and discover the creativity behind the glass. ❤️

And they’re up! 🌼🎨Día de Mu***os en Pike Place Market is getting closer, and two new murals are now on display in the Market!

Created by painter Ernesto Ybarra and wood-burning artist Carlos Mota Art, each mural draws inspiration from Día de Mu***os traditions and brings a piece of the October 23 celebration to the Market early.

Come see the murals in person, then join us Friday, October 23 from 12–9pm as Pike Place Market comes alive with mariachi and folklórico performances, Latine artists and makers, community altars, traditional food, live music, Lucha Libre, and more.

And at 6:30pm, the celebration takes to the streets with a Día de Mu***os parade through the Pike Place Market Historic District!

New Market collab just dropped! 🍪✨ Bite Society has teamed up with The Souk to create the Garam Graham, a new cookie inspired by a classic after-dinner treat.

Bite Society puts its spin on the traditional graham cracker with The Souk’s original Garam Masala blend, adding warm, aromatic spices to every bite.

The collaboration brings together two Pike Place Market businesses with very different specialties. The Souk curates flavors from India and the Middle East, including its own popular spice blends, while Bite Society makes small-batch cookies, snacks, condiments, and sweets right here in Seattle.

Ready to try it? 🍪 Find the Garam Graham at Bite Society in the Main Arcade, across from Pure Food Fish.

And while you’re here, stop by The Souk in the Soames-Dunn Building near Starbucks to explore the spices behind the cookie!

Today we celebrated 25 years of one of Pike Place Market’s most elusive residents. 🦑🎉

Floating 30 feet above the Economy Atrium, the Seattle Squid is easy to miss if you don’t know to look up!

At 26 feet long and weighing 200 pounds, this copper and steel sculpture by local artist Patrick J Wickline has been hanging above the Market since 2001.

The Seattle Squid is turning 25 tomorrow, and Pasta Casalinga is joining the celebration! 🦑🎉

Along with an artist meet-and-greet, art demonstration, and kids’ activities, Pasta Casalinga is getting into the spirit with a special Squid Ink Caserecce with calamari, chickpeas, and capers. 🖤🍝
