Forsyth Farmers' Market

Rain or shine, y’all still showed up!!!! 🌧️🌿 A little Savannah rain wasn’t stopping anyone from getting their market haul... Thank you to everyone who threw on a rain jacket, grabbed an umbrella, and made it out to see our vendors anyway. That’s community. 💚

We’ll see you next Saturday, rain or shine!

We’re proud to be one of Georgia Grown’s certified Farmers Markets—and especially proud to be among the 50 markets recognized across the state! 🌱💚 So, in the spirit of Georgia Grown’s Meet Me at the Market campaign, we have just one question:

Who are you telling, “Meet me at the Market!”? 🌻

Bring a friend, meet your neighbors, support Georgia farmers and food producers, and make Saturday morning at Forsyth Farmers’ Market part of your weekend. 52 Saturdays in 2026. 9 AM–1 PM. Rain or shine! Meet me at the Market. 💚

September is National Honey Month! Pollinators are essential to crops all across Southeast Georgia, from pecans and produce to forage crops. This month is a good reminder of how much our farmers rely on healthy bee populations — and a great excuse to support a local beekeeper or honey producer.

🍂 ONE WEEK TO GO! 🌳

Just 7 days until the FFM Fall Harvest Picnic! Next Sunday, we’re gathering under the oaks at Daffin Park for an afternoon of good food, live music, family fun, and community—all while supporting the work of Forsyth Farmers’ Market. 💛 Bring the family. Bring your favorite picnic people. Bring your appetite. We’ll bring the fall fun. 🍁

🎟️ Haven’t gotten your tickets yet? Now’s the time! Join us along with our program partners Common Thread/Farm Group and the Savannah Jaycees, with live music from Skip Jennings and the Fractions. Tickets are available on Eventbrite, and every ticket helps support FFM and the work we do to strengthen our local food community.

Already joining us? Let us know! Hit Going, tag, invite or forward the event to a friend or two, and tell us in the comments: What picnic dish are you looking forward to? 🧺

The countdown is ON. See you under the oaks! 🌳🍂

Friday Field Trips connect the crops in Georgia fields to the food and products you consume every day.

Vegetables are the fourth largest commodity in Georgia, contributing more than $1.15 billion to the state’s economy. Cucumbers represent nearly 7% of that number.

Last year, the production value of Georgia cucumbers totaled over $35.2 million dollars in revenue for our state. Thank you to the farmers and producers who made it possible!
