For 24 hours only, Newtown Nation is participating in the 2026 Giving Challenge, and thanks to the Patterson Foundation, every single donation will be DOUBLED.
That means your gift goes twice as far in supporting families, youth, and the historic Newtown community.
Newtown Nation is more than a nonprofit—we are a grassroots movement rooted in over 35 years of lived and professional expertise in housing, advocacy, and community wellness. Since 2015, we have worked alongside residents to expand food access, strengthen housing stability, empower youth, and preserve culture through resident-led solutions.
Here’s what your doubled gift supports:
• Food Access & Wellness – Through the Newtown Farmers Market and partnerships with Feeding Florida and SNAP, we’re ensuring families have access to healthy, affordable food.
• Youth Development – Programs like Fuel the Future Meal Program, Rhythm & Roots and our partnership with Billionaire Babies are equipping young people with leadership, creativity, and entrepreneurship skills.
• Community Leadership – We train and empower residents through workshops in advocacy, communication, and policy so they can shape their own futures.
• Cultural Preservation – Events like Big Mama’s Collard Green Festival celebrate heritage while promoting health and unity.
And now, we’re taking it even further.
Our Family Empowerment Pilot Program is designed to support five families over three years—not just with financial assistance, but with full, wraparound support including case management, financial coaching, mental health services, and workforce development.
We’re not offering temporary relief—we’re building pathways to long-term self-sufficiency.
But we can’t do this without you.
