We are doing a pre-season dry run on a smoked meat dinner for Friday 6/12. We have reformulated our rub recipe for a little less smoke flavor but still that same great taste. Give us a call at 518-891-0467 to order your smoked meat and 2 sides for dinner! Sides include our white cheddar mac+cheese, cole slaw, baked beans, deli salads (mac and potato varieties) and sweet corn bread.

We now have in stock, Col. Chuck Bechtel's(Ret.) book, "Sent to War, Returning for Peace" at The Trading Post. These are signed copies with a bookmark from The "Colonel" himself! Colonel Bechtel is a local author who comes to the Trading Post frequently. We will have him back this summer to talk about and sign books for us. Come buy a good local read from us!

Like Arby's Restaurants say, "We have the meats!" We started cutting fresh meat today for the season. We made our homemade breakfast sausage for the first time this season and then added some beautiful choice grade Black Angus NY strips. We also cut some pork CS spare ribs and pork tenderloin. We also have some beautiful organic grass-fed ground round. We are starting slow until it gets busier but we have started early! Next weekend homemade Italian sausage.
