“Good for the lungs.” Lots of old herbal book said it but very little of them said what that actually meant.
Daniel Gagnon (our previous owner of Herbs, Etc.) shares the frustration of reading these vague claims, until he met Michael Moore (founder of Herbs, Etc.) in the late 70’s.
Moore didn’t talk in generalities. He explained herbs at the level of the cell and the science of how the body functions.
That standard is why Daniel took the company over when he became Michael’s successor, to explain herbal medicine with the same specificity as a physician would use.
About 1/3 of modern medicine is still plant-based or plant-derived, so this isn’t a substitute for science - it’s an essential part of its foundation!
