Sunday, everything from our market! Tonight, we seared up a gorgeous 100% grass-fed ribeye steak from Molnar Cattle Company. Made a little pan sauce with butter from Pacheco Family Ranch, some shallots and herbs. And we served it with potatoes from Alcantar Farms. We added in a bunch of butter and Romano cheese from Antipasti LA.

Sunday! Last call for coconut haupia and chocolate dobash malasadas. Just for fun, The Malasada Guy is bringing a special flavor, Kona Coffee, as well this Sunday. After this, these flavors are not available. Their special June flavor hasn't been revealed yet, but it will be next week. These authentic Hawaiian malasada donuts are cooked to order right in front of you!

Sunday! Welcome back Gutierrez Farms and their berries from Nipomo! We are being joined this week by the farmer herself, Marta Gutierrez, pictured here. Her family farm is located right along PCH just north of Santa Maria. She is often out in the field picking berries herself.

Sunday! We have the most amazing summer fruit! Varieties change from week to week but this Sunday, Angelo Ranch has fruit you won't want to miss. The current picking of apricots are absolutely fabulous. Rich, full flavor. Plums are just amazing. The Flavor Rosa is a purple skin plum with purple interior, a true taste of summer. But the showstopper this week is the Dapple Supreme. Green skin with a pink to dark red interior. This combines rich sweet taste with a touch of tart!

That's a wrap on today's market! We had multiple people out of our market today and they will be back next week. We're sorry if your favorite person wasn't here. But they will be back! It's now after our market and now is an interesting time!

Once we close, there's a lot of bartering and trading that goes on. Much of the produce our farmers bring can't be resold. Instead of composting it, they often trade with other farmers or our food artisans. It's an interesting thing that happens here every single week.

Here we have Chef Devon from Smash Sabbath trading some burgers for produce. Rachel from Blue Ridge Honey is getting ready to make a trade of her own! We are back here next Sunday from 8:30 to 12:30 here on the corner of Magic Mountain Parkway and Navigation Avenue.
