The market has been in existence for over 30 years and includes 6 local locations. Our Association of 130 grower members, owned and operated by the members and its board of directors, is committed to helping promote local family farmers, and protecting the environment by sustaining and restoring surrounding greenbelt areas. The SBCFMA continues working diligently to bring the freshest and most nut

ritious produce our rich local agricultural land has to offer for you and your families. The markets serve to strengthen the local communities ties and will help to provide weekly events at no cost while enhancing our community's quality of life. Each week the farmers in the marketplace display a colorful bounty of agricultural products grown right in our backyard. Seasonal diversity is available year round rain or shine.

🏵️It's with heavy hearts that we mark the passing of long time, local, Organic Farmer Mike Iniguez ( Mike's Organic ). The SBCFMA was started by local Farmers who saw the need to provide their community with fresh, clean access to Organic food. Mike farmed Goleta for almost 50 years and to lose him is an incredible loss to our community. The Farm continues at his behest by his partner Lorena Iniguez and small staff. Please continue to support this farm and in so doing nurture the memory of Mike and everything he continues to contribute. Let's honor our Farmers and what they create every time they harvest for our markets. 🏵️

🍅🌈 Are those Organic Heirloom Tomatoes!?🌈🍅 The Santa Barbara Certified Farmers Market is here with Tutti Frutti Farms on this beautiful Saturday morning and the "Purple Cherokee" Heirloom Tomato is in attendance! The groundhog of Organic produce, Summer is on its way.

🥔 Fresh Organic Potatoes at Roots Organic Farm! The Purple potatoes and "Fingerling" potatoes are standouts but you can't go wrong with a creamy "Yukon" or Red potato.

Sweet cherry tomatoes at Munak Family Farms and spotted at Chavez Family Farms. It's the beginning of the season for most tomatoes, get them before they're gone. 🐝☺️

The Farm Moms, the buying great produce for their family Moms, the supporting local Agriculture Moms, the Chef Moms that make our restaurants so delectable, the Florist Moms, the Great Baker Moms, the list goes on and on!
