💜🥚 STOP THE PRESSES! WE HAVE A PURPLE EGG!!! 🥚💜

Well, somebody at XS Heart Ranch has been keeping a BEAUTIFUL little secret! 😂🐓

Today, while gathering eggs from our rainbow layer flock, I discovered something we’ve NEVER had before… a gorgeous LAVENDER-PURPLE egg!!! 💜

We’ve spent a small fortune (don’t tell Dave! 🤣) bringing in some special genetics for unusual egg colors, pink blooms, and heavy-bloom Marans. And today, one of our little ladies may have decided to show us what all that investment was about!

The beautiful purple color comes from a heavy natural bloom on the eggshell, and I am absolutely in LOVE with it!

Now the mystery begins… WHO laid it?! 🕵️‍♀️🐔

We have some gorgeous young pullets just beginning to lay, and apparently one of them has been hiding a very special talent!

I think we may need to install a nesting-box camera and launch OPERATION PURPLE EGG! 😂💜

This is exactly why I love raising chickens! You just never know what little treasure you’re going to find in the nesting box!

🌈🥚 XS Heart Ranch — where every egg is a little work of art! ❤️

❤️ SOLD! ❤️

Thank you, and congratulations to Marshmallow’s new family! We can’t wait to hear how our sweet little 3-month-old boy settles in and enjoys his new home.

One of the unexpected joys of this little Serama hobby has been the wonderful people we get to meet along the way. We love sharing stories, talking chickens, and making new friends — all because of these unforgettable little birds. 🐥❤️

We’ll miss seeing Marshmallow around XS Heart Ranch, but we’re so happy knowing he’s off on his next adventure!

Thank you for choosing an XS Heart Ranch Serama!

🚨 BREAKING NEWS FROM THE EGG STAND 🚨

Looks like Coldplay’s Kiss Cam made a surprise stop at XS Heart Ranch… And our Rooster Romeo just couldn’t resist whispering “Yellow” to a hen that wasn’t his! 🐓💛🐔
Meanwhile, his real hen is standing by the egg stand like: “I will try… to Fix You.”
Chicks are scandalized. Eggs are rattled. Drama is farm-fresh! 🍳😳
