Jerry’s Market’s Conception since 1947

Jerry’s Market was founded by Gerald L. Dunham in April 1947 soon after his heroic service in World War II. The recipe for continued success of Jerry’s Market is it’s principle foundation of the finest quality possible at the best price point.The store was the First store in Maine to offer Oscar Mayer products in the early 50’s. Top Choice cuts of Meats are offered as well as the Freshest Seafood from both Portland and Boston Markets delivered sometimes daily. Local caught Lobsters and Fresh dug Steamer Clams are summertime favorites as well as a very extensive selection of fine wines.Marinated meats are offered thru a vacuum tumbling system that puts the marinates into the meat, giving it flavor and tenderness. The same ideals are strictly upheld today as was the founding principles of it’s conception. Cleanliness is a huge part of our high standards of quality.
