Today's market was a hot and special one! We enjoyed sampling lots of tasty meats from our local livestock farmers today for our Grilling at the Market event! Thanks again to Chef Chad Blackwelder for joining us and serving up a delicious showcase of chicken, pork, and beef available from our farmers at the market! And of course there were lots of other wonderful local foods and goods to enjoy today!

WEDNESDAY MARKET APPLICATIONS OPEN!

We are excited to announce that we are looking for additional vendors to join us for our upcoming Wednesday afternoon markets!

We are looking for a variety of different food vendors, especially produce farms, ready-to-eat food vendors, and food trucks!!

We are a producers' only farmers' market hosting weekly markets on Saturdays 8:30am-12pm at the Ag Marketplace (157 Charlotte Ave) in downtown Sanford NC! Our market season is April 4 - November 21 this year. Join us for fresh locally grown foods and fun!

Becky King and Mark Bastien play acoustic guitar duets and share their amazing vocals at our market on a monthly basis! We are excited to have this talented duo back to celebrate our Grilling at the Market event this Saturday, June 13th!

We are featuring our livestock farmers and their delicious meats they offer at market this Saturday! Enjoy various grilled meat samples prepared by local chef and NC Department of Agriculture Marketing Specialist Chad Blackwelder, featuring beef, pork, and chicken from our market farmers! We'll also have tips for grilling as well as information on food safety for cookouts, differences between types of meat cuts, and more!

If you're coming to market today, we are working around some road closures due to construction and the San-Lee AACA Classics to Customs Car Show happening next door. Watch our video for more information on how to get to market!

Please note that Charlotte Avenue is closed between Chatham Street and First Street. If you are coming via Carthage St, follow the detour signs. You can arrive off Hawkins Ave by turning onto Chisholm Street which connects with First Street.
