A question I get asked often is, "How does the co-op work?" I thought it was time to do another post about it 😍

1.) 🌱 create an account on our website (belovedacresidaho.com -- it's free to join!
2.) 🌻on Saturdays at 9am the website opens for orders, log in, select the Thursday pick up date and which location you want to pick up at. Shop from over 300 different items. You can build your own box, we have no minimums, you order whatever you need! You have until Wednesday at 9am to place an order for pick up.
3.) 🍓pick up is always on Thursdays! Main location from 8:00-5:15pm, Sagle from 10:45-11:30am, Elmira/Samuels from 11:30-11:45am.
4.) 🫑Payment is cash, check, Venmo, cash app or zelle. We do NOT accept cards at this time.

Did you forget to place an order? No worries! We always have lots of extras to choose from at our main location. Stop by in the morning and shop our extras table filled with produce and our retail section with grocery staples.

We have a full line up of purple produce this week 💜 All organic from PNW farms, including Purple Asparagus, Purple Snap & Snow Peas, & Purple Cauliflower. So if you're feeling like you need some color in your life, we've got options!

We will also have locally baked scones & take home meals from Red Barn Bakery in both gluten free and gluten options.

And I'm getting a whole seafood order from Oregon Fish Co this week which includes Wild Jumbo Scallops, Jumbo Shrimp, Wild Caught Halibut (literally caught this weekend!), and Rock Fish. 🐟Happy shopping! Link to place an order is in the stories. Pick up is always on Thursdays!

Out of the 2ish years we have been doing the coop I can safely say this is the largest beet I have ever seen, weighing in at a whopping 3.8lbs 😳 if you haven't tried one of these monsters snag one this week, we source these from Monteccuco Farms in Canby Oregon.

Pictured holding the beet is Stefanie, one of the rockstars that help us out on Thursdays packing everyones orders. She's been a part of the team for a few months now and she's pretty awesome. We're super thankful for her 🙏🏻🤩

We will also have local radishes from Homestead Produce, these Star Ruby Grapefruits that are always fantastic. Wild Caught seafood including Mahi Mahi, Coho Salmon & Sockeye Salmon. Lots of great options this week. Head to the website to place your order for pick up on Thursday!

We have a fun line up of goodies at the co-op this week! Not only will we have these big jumbo sweet potatoes back, we will also have some fun holiday themed baked goods. We will have Bunny Cakes available in Carrot Cake,Chocolate & Vanilla with Dye Free Coloring & Dye Free Sprinkles. We will also have Gluten Free White Chocolate Coconut Cake from . Supporting our local farming ecosystem is incredibly important to us. 🥬 Partnering with farms that understand the importance of growing quality food with organic (or better!) standards is a mission that we continue to pursue. We have loved working with .steadproduce over the years, featuring a variety of their amazing produce and pasture raised chicken eggs! 🥚While the full garden bounty isn't in full swing yet, we are excited to have a limited supply of their Lettuce Mix available and as always their Eggs! Snag a bag of lettuce and a dozen eggs under their farm category on our website. Pick up is always on Thursdays at our main location in Sandpoint and our drop locations in Sagle & Elmira. ❤️

Back by popular time demand we have Barbara's organic sourdough bagels this week. Only a few bags left of each so definitely place your order if you haven't already. We also have some great pricing on asparagus and broccoli right now! As always all produce and grocery staples are certified organic. And if you haven't been getting these blackberries you're missing out, they are amazing 🤩

What a beautiful day in North Idaho 🌞 Today we had our Gardening in North Idaho Class with Jeamette from Pack River Farm. This weather sure inspired visions of planting and summer gardening. 🌱 We have a full line up of delicious goodies this week, including these nummy strawberries, nantes carrots and the first of the season blueberries coming out of California. All produce is certified organic! We will also have local microgreens from Pack River Farm as usual and some aquaponics greens as well. Head to our store to place your weekly co-op order, pick up is always Thursdays!

We sure live in a beautiful place, with lots of amazing folks that come together to nourish our community. One of our OGs, Danette, reppin our new sweatshirts that we have available at our store for purchase on Thursdays & Fridays. 😍
🌱 We love the community that has been built around Organic Agriculture. We live in a time where knowing where your food is coming from is becoming more and more scarce. The amount of research that is poured into the farms we work with and the products we source would probably shock some folks. It is no joke that 75% + of the products in your grocery store are all owned by the same big 5/6 corporations. We are proud to announce that we get to partner with over 27 local vendors now. Pictured, is Mei Bok Choi that's available this week. We are also excited to be able to partner with to offer more Raw milk to our members. We also have a new unscented Tallow line for Gustallow available starting this week.
🍊Sometimes I get asked where the rest of our produce is sourced. We work with two produce distributors, one exclusively organic, to be able to offer 100% organic produce year round. I thoroughly research each farm we carry through these distributors to ensure we are supporting privately owned businesses that are wanting to improve our food system and have the BEST practices.
💪🏻 Our bodies are what we eat and what we consume is so important for life long health. I am so thankful for this opportunity to steward Beloved Acres. It has taught me SO much about our food system and the importance of doing the research and knowing where our food is coming from. It has taught me that just because something claims pestacides free, it doesn't mean chemical free, it has taught me that a lot of companies are not privately owned, it has taught me that a lot of organic farms are not always organic, it has taught me the importance in finding farms that have the same mission of growing REAL food and lastly, it has taught me the importance of price transparency and having a mission to be affordable.

We have Roast House Coffee back in stock this week! ☕ We have several light roast blends, their house decaf, a medium roast and dark roast. All coffee is certified organic. Tasting notes are available under the product description when you click view options. We also have more organic raw cheese from Alpine Heritage Creamery in Pennsylvania. 🧀 Real cheese made with traditional animal rennet. No lab grown rennet. 👏🏻 We also have quite a few mandarins this week including these fun gold Nugget mandarins. Place your order from today until Wednesday for pick up on Thursday!
