Who's ready to start a food business? You'd have a great customer base with us at the Farmers Market and we always appreciate more food vendors. Use Salmon Valley Stewardship's Community Kitchen to store produce and ingredients, prep and cook, then come sell your great food at the market! This is a great opportunity to grow our local food scene.

Spread the word! The SVS Community Kitchen is officially open for rent. This is a licensed commercial kitchen and walk-in cooler in Salmon, for use by caterers, bakers, food businesses, farmers, educators, or individuals who need a dedicated, commercial kitchen space. Email us at [email protected] for details.

Yip yip yipee! It's really starting folks, your favorite Saturday morning activity -- The Lemhi County Farmers Market! This week's live music by No Time Flatt, an awesome bluegrass duo (Cliff and Arlene).
**Preschool in the park is this week from 11am-12pm, so bring your young kiddos for a fun nature activity with Salmon Public Library.

We have a really fun lineup of vendors this year - including educational booths, crazy creative crafters, food booths, farms, and artists. Special events schedule coming out soon!

The market runs from 9am to 1pm at Veterans Memorial Park in Salmon. Every Saturday from June through the end of September.

Join us at 11am this weekend for Preschool in the park! Audz from the Salmon Public Library will be running a nature-filled preschool - bring your kiddos and have some fun while at the market. No pre-registration required, just show up! Please stay with your kiddos during preschool if they need supervision.

11am-12pm at Veterans Memorial Park.
Look for Audz with a sign at the south end of the park under the shade of the trees!

Wahoo, Farmers Market & Plant Sale is tomorrow!
Saturday, May 23rd 9am-1pm
Here's some of the incredible selection of plants that Jody Brostrom is bringing to share with you all. She has a passion for pollinators and feeding her community. Pollinators are not only the most important and underrecognized part of our food chain, but they are the reason our native landscapes are so vibrant and healthy. Growing pollinator plants helps feed us and helps create all the beautiful seeds and fruits that native wildlife depends on. Stop by her booth to shop for pollinator plant starts, a huge selection of tomatoes, and other veggies and flowers as well!

Vendor spotlight for this weekend's Farmers Market & Plant Sale! Welcome to Serviceberry Nursery, a cool business in Salmon owned and operated by Amy & Colby Kramer. Serviceberry will have an abundance of plants for sale this weekend. Click "like" if you want more native plants in your life!
See you on Saturday, from 9am to 1pm at Veterans Memorial Park.

Serviceberry is bringing a variety of native shrubs, flowers, grasses, pollinator plants, and more to the sale. Don't forget to stop by their booth and ask them about their design and consulting services - we hear they are great at helping you plan and plant your landscape!

Who's itching to get planting with all this beautiful weather? We are! Vendors at our special early Farmers Market & Plant Sale will have all the starts you need to complete your garden. Native Plants and Pollinator Plants, Vegetables, Herbs, and Flowers. Plant starts by Sweet Belly Farm, the Salmon School Garden, Jody Brostrom, Serviceberry Nursery, and several others.
