Barrett's Foodtown We are your Hometown Grocer! Barrett's was started in 1935 by Stanley Barrett in a small store on Main Street in Salina, UT. location in 1968.

The business moved two more times until Stan and Keith Barrett (Stan's Son) built our current State St. Keith's son-in-law, Jim Erdei, joined the business in 1973. In 2001, Jim's son, Chandler Erdei, became the forth generation to operate the business. David Jensen joined the Barrett's team in 1982 and has become an invaluable member of the family business ever since. We are very customer focused.

We focus on our fresh departments and maintain a competitive pricing strategy throughout the store. We are the Hometown Grocer and as such, we are very involved with our community. The money spent here, stays here. We sponsor local athletes, students, community improvents and volunteer clubs. We sponsor two large scholarships to help our local students advance to college. We are a locally owned and operated business, and as such, we are committed to giving back to our community. Great groceries, great prices. We go to great lengths to carry only the finest fruits and vegetables and to deliver them in the same excellent condition as when they were picked. Our produce is always fresh and our produce manager is always available to assist a customer. Meat from a butcher

Have the best meat department around. We have an old fashioned meat counter where the customer can talk with the butcher, order custom cuts, and watch the butcher cut their meat on the spot. Plus, we are priced the same or less than our competition. Why pay more for less? Our fresh departments are our focus. We never compromise on freshness or quality. No store around has a meat-counter as unique as ours. You demand and deserve the best in meat, poultry and seafood. Our fresh meat department is designed to satisfy even the most discriminating guests and ensure their satisfaction. Plus, our in-store butchers have a thorough knowledge of the items they carry and provide insight unavailable anywhere else.
