We know many of you are recovering from heavy rain and high winds last night and some of our vendors are reeling with loss too. However, many of them will already be in Salina, so we will set up at the market today 6/9 at 4:00.

Shriners will be at the market on Tuesday June 9th

These onions are shipped directly from our grower in Vidalia, Georgia. Why is that important? They were harvested in May of this year. They didn’t sit in a warehouse for weeks. They are fresh and, as a result, will last for months if you store them in a cool, dry place.

We use this money to send kids and their families to Shriner Hospitals all over the United States.

Our vendors and farmers are grateful for the SNAP program as well as Local Food Works Foundation, Salina KS who make it possible to double a family's food dollars. What better way to assist and encourage healthy choices! Thank you for providing local dollars that get invested right back into the local economy!

Shoppers can use their Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits at a Salina farmers market and participate in the Double Up Food Bucks program at the Salina Harvest Farmers Market. The market is every Tuesday from 4-7 P.M. in the Emmanuel Church parking lot at 1325 E. Cloud Street.
