It’s our first specialty events weekend this weekend. We have a number of beautifully curated events to truly enjoy the beauty and bounty of the fields together, breathe deep and find respite. Tonight we host an extra special occasion date night tonight, and tomorrow a guided bouquet making and flower field tour, a healthcare field tour of the vegetables and discussion on their impacts to our health, and our free community plant powered potluck tomorrow evening. We hope to see you at one or more!

Of course blueberry picking also continues! They are INCREDIBLE! What gifts of the land! Saturday (and Wednesday) mornings from 8am-12noon we host Berry rewards, give half of what you pick to us and keep your half free! The farm stand is open 7am-dark daily until frost to harvest freely of the Berry, flower, tea and vegetable fields. We welcome you!

Housekeeping notes:
Parking is by the greenhouse and the entrances and exits have changed. We have one extra large entrance and exits. Our previous two have been converted to a private drive for our Suite guests, and a lovely meadow.

Berry picking is by volume to reduce the hassle of navigating the scale for each of our customers self serve. It has been calculated based on a $4.5/lb rate but really gives you, the customer, the better deal as each ounce is not tabulated. If you do not fill a full bucket you can pour your pickings into quarts to tabulate. We like to make it easy!

Visit our website- calendar of events- to register for any of our offerings and to learn more. Or feel free to send messages with questions. We so look forward to welcoming you here.

What a lovely season opening! Thank you to all who came by to pick and say hello, so much joy to reconnect and welcome you. The fields are filled with gigantic beautiful blueberries, all colors and textures of blooms, and some good veggie eats too. The farm is open to you daily 7am-dark until frost.

You are welcome to pick what you love from the fields or to grab already picked for you goodies at the stand.

A few house keeping notes:
Parking and entrances have changed, follow the signs to the green house behind the big barn and enter/exit right by the fields. If you intend to pay with cash, bring exact change, this is a self serve station. We offer berry picking by volume, pint, quart and bucket converted from a $4.5/lb price. We manage the land by hand only ever using organic management resources institute products according to organic standards, if ever needed, which is rare. Certification lost funding this year so our certification process is on hold.

Our Post & Beam Suite is days away from reveal, so much elegance and simplicity all in one, an oasis! Updates to our Respite Cabin are within a week of completion. The season is creshendo-ing into fulfillment and we are excited!

Coming (oh so) soon! July 11–Blueberry season returns! Like always we will be offering Blueberry Rewards ALL season, but, only on Wednesday and Saturday mornings 8-noon. Give half of what you pick, and you keep your half for FREE! This helps us keep the berry bushes healthy and picked, best practices for growing organically, AND helps us ensure these amazing superfoods can be *affordably* *abundant* in large quantities in family freezers and counters galore. The blueberry’s superpower antioxidants status for our health cannot be overstated. And, what a treat!

Of course you don’t have to give away half of your labor though if you’d like to keep every last gem. Beginning July 11th 7am-Dark Daily the overhang in front of Gardenworks will be open, transformed into a beautiful farmstand and “you pick” headquarters. Ample signage will orient you for your self guided relaxing visit as your arms fill with bounty and your mind and heart settle with glorious deep breaths surrounded by the beauty of creation. We are so excited!

BUT FIRST: June 20th 5-6:30pm you are welcome to a FEAST. Join us behind the scenes before the farm truly opens for a plant powered potluck feast as we kick off our monthly gatherings. Bring a plant only dish to share and stand amazed at all of the colors and flavors before you. We cannot wait to gather with old friends and soon to be new friends alike, and we hope you can come. RSVP on our website, calendar of events. Sign up for our newsletter to stay up to date.

Behind the scenes: seeding, seeding, watering, tending, transplanting, fabric laying, support installing, airbnb completing, and lots of mowing and w**d eating! It’s full time all the time in beautiful weather and not, and we love it! Dirt is constantly under our fingernails… we properly scrub before leaving the farm about 33% of the time. We’ll surely get better 🤣

Spring also brings along finishing up our school year complete with a field trip to Boston, a dance performance, mountain biking races and practice, half marathon, etc😀
We are so thankful for all of these good things.

Mad dash spring is here and this Texan is SO thankful it’s finally warm.

Happy spring to all!
