Tomorrow is Opening Day...... FINALLY!

10/04/2026

100 YEARS AGO THIS WEEK

In October 1926, St. Paul legend
GROVER CLEVELAND ALEXANDER
helped lead the St. Louis Cardinals to their
first World Series Championship.
On October 10, 1926, Alexander recorded the
final outs of Game 7 at Yankee Stadium.
100 years later, his story is still part of St. Paul.

Just finishing up on some final touches. We are in the home stretch! Opening Day, October 6th

⚾️🍊⚾️🍊 Important UPDATE!

Hometown Market will be closing it's doors for the final time on September 26th.
We would like to thank everyone for your patience over the past month. We started to transition some sections and coolers over to our soon to be, new home. We are nearing the final stretch of the moving process and hope to open the doors to
Home Plate Market on October 6th.
We apologize in advance for the inconvenience of being closed from September 27th - October 5th. With all that still needs to be done and in order for us to make the soft opening deadline, we need a full week to finish things up.
Again, we greatly appreciate your patience.
Our team is excited for opening day!
Stay tuned for further updates

Words can not express how grateful and blessed we were to have Kim a part of our family.
Through the many years Kim devoted her time and efforts towards serving others and being that constant helping hand. Making Hometown Market a better place for everyone. Kim's spirit will live on forever. Her impact on us will not fade. Will never be forgotten. Our hearts go out to all of her loved ones and the entire Kosmicki family.
Hometown Market will be closed from 12:00-3:00 Friday, so her Hometown family can pay respects to our long time friend.
Kim will be dearly missed.

We are getting closer.....
HOW WILL YOU REMEMBER this store?
Please share your favorite memory or even a photo in the comments. Of Havliks, Jack & Jill,
or Hometown Market.

This building has served our community since 1961, but it was the people inside it who gave it life.

For generations, it has been more than just a grocery store. It has been a place of first jobs, lifelong friendships, familiar faces, and countless memories. We are grateful for every employee, customer, and family who has been part of its story.

While the building may change, the people, memories, and community that made it special never will. Thank you for the support, trust, and friendships you've given us throughout the years.

We're excited for what's ahead, but we'll never forget where we came from or where we belong.
