By now, you've either met or seen Jenny, the newest member of the Salchert's team!
It's hard to believe she's only been with us for six weeks. Honestly, it feels like she's been part of the family for years.
Jenny is the definition of someone who jumps in and helps wherever she's needed. No task is beneath her, no challenge scares her, and she never waits to be told what to do. She pays attention, listens, learns, and gets after it.
Many of you know that over the last year I've been working on developing and launching a clean-label, shelf-stable snack stick. We've made tremendous progress, but one thing I knew was that I needed the right person helping with day-to-day operations so I could dedicate more time to that project.
The key was finding the right person.
What impresses me most isn't how quickly she learns—it's her attitude. When something needs to be done, she handles it. If she isn't sure, she asks. If she gets feedback, she listens, adjusts, and keeps moving forward. That's a rare quality.
Jenny is kind, passionate, driven, and as genuine as they come. A true farm girl with a huge heart.
And here's the icing on the cake: Jenny comes from the Winkler family—the same family that raises the beef we proudly sell in our showcase and that many of you fill your freezers with each year.
Jeff and I have been incredibly blessed to work with the Winklers. Dan, MaryJo, and their entire family have been wonderful partners, mentors, and friends. During COVID, when we had to pivot quickly, they were steady, calm, and full of wisdom when we needed it most.
Looking back, I probably shouldn't be surprised that Jenny turned out to be such an amazing addition to our team.
Thank you to everyone who has welcomed Jenny the same way you welcomed me. We are grateful, humbled, and honored to serve this community every day.
Please help us officially celebrate Jenny and welcome her to the Salchert family!
