🫖 Have you ever tried to make Cold Brew Tea? 🥤

Ice tea is perfect for a hot summer's day, but it could be hard to find the right technique or the time to make it at home. Cold brew tea is a quick way to make a cold cup of tea, as well as an simple way to alleviate any bitterness that might come from the tea! Give it a try with Chipko Market's tea leaves:

Use 1 teaspoon of any tea per 1 cup (8 oz) of cold water. Put both ingredients into any container you'd like (such as a jar), give it a quick stir, and put it in the fridge for 6-12 hours. Strain out the tea leaves, and just like that it is ready to enjoy!

What is Juneteenth/Freedom Day? Juneteenth marks the end of institutionalized slavery, freeing the last enslaved people in Texas, 2 years after the Emancipation Proclamation. Juneteenth is a celebration of African American history, resilience, and joy, as well as a reminder of the rights that had to be won and ones that are still being fought for. As people who care about the Earth, we have to remind ourselves too. Because the fight for human rights and environmental rights are the same battle.

We held a pasta contest where participants had to guess the price of a jar full of Mantova Organic Penne Pasta found in Chipko Market. And the results are in.... The final cost of that jar was $3.10. The closest guess without going over was Susan W. with a guess of $3! Congratulations! Be sure to check your email to receive your prize!

Cards are a beautiful way to show someone you care, but what if they can transform into something more after they are read? This card is the answer!
The paper itself is made with plant seeds infused inside, ready to plant with a little bit of dirt and some water. So once someone is ready, they can plant it in the ground where the paper will decompose and new plant life will be created!
