Heads up! Pretty well cleaned out on produce. Still some Eggs, Peas, Cabbage, a few Tomatoes, a few Cauliflower, a few Zucchini and a lonely bunch of Beets left. Still some plants left.

Thank you for a great weekend everyone! It's been a beautiful day. I've been out in the field cleaning up Tomatoes and Peppers after the storm. Didn't lose too many plants and the rest should bounce back just fine. A lot of work but grateful it wasn't worse!

I'm open until dark! The stand is pretty well stocked with the exception of potatoes, onions and carrots. I won't have time to pick today because I have a bunch of other work to get things back in order from the storm damage.

The Peas have a bit of hail damage, little white spots. There is nothing wrong with them! Same with the Zucchini and Squash.

I marked down the produce shares! I also marked all the remaining plants down again! Still some really great flowers, grasses and other landscaping plants.

I will not be open Wednesday this week because I need to take the whole week to focus on getting my field back in order. I'm planning on being open next weekend again though. Thank you for your support!

Getting ready for the weekend. Muddy time digging Potatoes but they sure cleaned up nice! Lots of Beets coming in.

I said I was done with plants but I scored a great deal on a bunch of really nice baskets, ornamentals, bedding plants, flowers etc. Lots of Proven Winner and unique stuff. It's going to be great deals priced to move fast. 16 inch baskets will be $15. Most other plants $3-5.

I'll be open 10:00 a.m. until dark Saturday and Sunday. Rain or shine. Looks like more rain tomorrow afternoon ugh. So come out early if you want to avoid it and get your pick of the produce and plants! Lots of $10 produce shares will be available.

Thanks for all the well wishes everyone. Getting a lot of messages of folks asking how they can help and honestly just keep coming out and supporting the stand when you can. Please don't be afraid of some of the produce like the Zucchini and Squash that has a little bit of blemish from hail damage etc. Appreciate y'all!

Finally had a chance to walk my whole field and survey. It's definitely the worst damage I've had in my 20 years of produce farming. 60 + MPH wind with hail and 3 + inches of rain in an hour or so!

On the bright side, I have tons of root veggies planted (Garlic, Onions, Potatoes, Beets, Turnips, Carrots, etc) and they are all OK. Lost some Peas to hail damage but overall OK. Peppers surprisingly OK somehow. Not a ton of foliage on the plants yet helped. Tomatoes got hammered and will take some work to clean up but will rebound. Not much fruit on the plants yet which is good. Zucchini and Squash still TBA. Not a total loss but very damaged. Cucumbers, Beans and Melons are a total loss and will need to replanted. Luckily it's still early enough in the season and the plants themselves were not that far along. Had lots of beautiful head lettuce that got shredded and a total loss.

Looking at pictures across the State and feeling for everyone. So much damage to not just farmers, but homes, businesses, etc :(

I will be open this weekend, but depending on how things go I might need to take the following week off to get my house back in order and replant/reset some areas of my field. Still have 5 months or so of the growing season left so I am going to focus on that and be thankful I still have plenty of time left.

Thank you for your support and caring!

No time to feel bad for yourself. Back to work harvesting getting ready for the weekend!

I'm open until dark rain or shine! I have $10 produce boxes out there which are an amazing value (please don't take the peck boxes). The first Onions and lots more! I need to dig potatoes but honestly I'm probably not going to do it today because I definitely heat stroked myself a bit yesterday and I'm feeling it today. I'll have lots more by the weekend though. All plants are free!

Heads up! I am going to start opening the farm stand Wednesdays from 10AM until dark 😁

PS - all plants left are FREE!
