What is Afternoon Tea? ☕🇬🇧

Afternoon Tea originated in England during the 1840s as a light meal served between lunch and a late evening dinner.

Traditionally, it consists of three courses:

🥪 Savories & Tea Sandwiches

🌹 Scones served with Devonshire (clotted) cream and preserves

🍰 Cakes, pastries, and sweet treats

All enjoyed with a pot of tea.

Afternoon Tea was never meant to be rushed.

It was designed as an opportunity to gather, converse, and enjoy the company around the table.
