The 2026 Harvest Season was very different, but we still had many sweet moments along the way. A big thank you to all who supported us as we work to honor our ancestors’ sacrifices. We appreciate each of you.

We ended the season with a gathering of Angle cousins where Uncle Eldon showed us all up by climbing a ladder and picking a bucket of apples from the top of a tree.

Eldon owned the orchard for over 25 years and still provides guidance, wisdom and help.

And at 96 years old, he showed us his mischievous side as he pelted onlookers with apples from the ladder.

Photo credit and the award for bravery under apple attack goes to Mikaela Durfee
